In order to raise awareness of the importance of the use of respiratory equipment, as well as the protection of the head, face and hearing, Albo organized a series of seminars-workshops aimed at our partners and associates.
We started from Vranje and then visited Pancevo and Sabac. After the mentioned three, we will visit 10 more cities in Serbia. Our goal is to change the current negative trend in our area when it comes to these personal protective equipment categories, which is that of the total investment in PPE, only 10% is invested in respiratory and head, face and hearing protection. It is especially necessary to place emphasis on the protection of the respiratory organs and hearing, as injuries and damage to these organs are gradual, which is why users and employers often neglect to use PPE to protect them. However, the consequences, when they occur, are irreversible.
In addition to the topic of these seminars, we will also address changes in the legislation regarding personal protective equipment, and we will also be happy to answer any questions and dilemmas our partners face. We believe that all this will result in a higher level of awareness of the importance of the use of personal protective equipment and greater worker safety, which is exactly what we want to end this 2019 year – the year of safety at work.
