3M Speedglas G5-03 is the latest welding helmet model from the G5 series, designed for professional welders working in demanding conditions. The key innovation of this model is the TAP function, which allows switching between grinding and welding modes with a simple tap on the helmet, eliminating the need to remove the helmet or adjust the ADF filter. Unlike the G5-01 model, the G5-03 does not feature a Flip-Up mechanism, making it more compact and lightweight.

  • ADF Filter: Provides three True View light modes for more natural color representation and better contrast during welding. Auto-darkening activates in 0.1 ms, with adjustable dark modes from DIN 5 to DIN 14.
  • Variable Color Technology: Users can choose between warm, cool, or natural color tones in the darkened mode, further reducing eye strain.
  • Ergonomics: The helmet's weight is evenly distributed, and the insert is adjustable for size, distance from the face, and helmet angle, ensuring maximum comfort.
