The British company JSP was founded in 1964 as a manufacturer of protective clothing and gloves, and over time the product base expanded: during the early 1970s to personal protective equipment and road safety equipment, and in the 1990s to spill risk management products . The companies Albo and JSP established cooperation in 2000, thanks to which for 22 years customers on the domestic market have had access to equipment of top quality and design, adapted to the different needs of users.

Sustainability
Sustainability is of massive importance to JSP and they are continually improving the methodologies used during manufacture to ensure a safer, more sustainable future by making products 100% recyclable, concentrating on Product Lifecycle Management and educating their workforce. JSP ensures that the products and services they offer are as sustainable as possible, with the least possible impact on the environment and positive social outcomes.
Where possible JSP ensure plastic packaging is reusable by being resealable and therefore used as a storage unit as stipulated by the PPE regulation, to take care of the item of PPE in order to protect it, keep it dry and free from dust. This also prolongs lifespan of the product when PPE is stored correctly.
JSP use packaging with a high percentage of recycled cardboard. JSP Group processes in excess of 120 tonnes of recycled material per week.
JSP is a founder member of the “National Hard hat Recycling Scheme” and will continue to promote recycling of end of life JSP Helmets. The National Hard Hat Recycling Scheme aims to change that by diverting hard hats into a dedicated waste processing facility, thereby ensuring all hat waste is fully recycled. The scheme is a membership scheme, whereby registered members can send their hard hats directly into a dedicated hard hat recycling facility where they will be destroyed, with all of the plastic being fully recovered and made back into “new” plastic pellets.
Beside that, JSP participates in global initiatives to improve the lives of others through its expertise in product development. For example, they have contributed to a project that seeks to help rural and isolated communities in some of the poorest parts of the world gain access to education and health facilities. For this initiative, JSP donated some of its equipment to the builders who build the bridges.
